Otter Camp/Venue

Otter Camp is a delightful venue suitable for functions, conferences, wedding parties or family get-aways with a difference! PLEASE NOTE – This camp is only available for functions. Accommodation for 24 guests with each chalet en-suite. A dedicated chalet for the children which sleeps 8 in total. Otter Camp is situated on the river bank with a large swimming pool and slide to ensure endless fun in the sun. Every Chalet has a different interior theme which reflects on the surrounding environment and its interesting artefacts. Fully equipped kitchen and Spit braai available on request. Otter Camp is a fresh innovative venue which will definitely impress your guests with a farm-style chic. The camp is available from Friday to Sunday, which is included in the price.

Venue Rates:

Option 1:  R11,500.00

– no accommodation plus an R3,500 breakage deposit.

– includes Honeymoon Suite (Toeka Camp) for the “newly-weds”

Option 2: R27,000.00

– includes Honeymoon Suite (Toeka Camp) for the “newly-weds” & accommodation for 24 guests at the venue.

– R3,500 breakage deposit.

Option 3: R57,800.00

To book the entire farm with all accommodation is R57,800.00 (Klipdrif not included)

Venue Features:

 

Comfortably seating 80-120 guests. With a stretch tent chapel area / pre-drinks reception area and safe and secure parking.

We are also in the process of building a closed chapel. The venue hire includes 13 Rectangular Wooden Tables, 120 Chairs, Crockery and cutlery for 120 guests and dressing room for the Bride. All linen including table cloths, napkins, chair covers, overlays, and decor are EXCLUDED.

  • No own caterers allowed
  • Square Hay bales available for rent at R12 per bale for seating of 2 guests per bale.
  • Function Cleaning Services – R1,450 (Compulsory)
  • Meloti Valley offers a small selection of decor, tablecloths and linen for hire, please contact us for more information.
  • Fully fitted kitchen for function use

Terms & Conditions

  • Additional tents are welcome at a discounted rate
  • Accommodation tariffs are quoted in South African rand (ZAR) and are subject to change..
  • CHECK IN – 2 PM, CHECK OUT – 10 AM
  • Catering available for Spit-braais to Sunday breakfast
  • Boma fire place gets provided with 1 bag firewood, more wood available on request at R60 per bag.
  • Bags of Ice is available at R12 per bag.
  • Compulsory cleaning charge for the day of the function @ R1,450
  • Guests to provide own towels.
  • No telephone cancellations are valid, cancellations must be sent via email to info@melotivalley.co.za
  • All activities at own risk.
  • Indemnity forms to be completed on arrival (Compulsory)
